The OCEM Journal of Management, Technology & Social Sciences is devoted to integrating interdisciplinary research, advancing academic excellence, and fostering scholarly discourse. This editorial reflects on the notable accomplishments of the previous year, which include the successful conclusion of the OCEM’s International Conference on Green Technology and Talent Management. It also outlines the exciting plans for the forthcoming conference, the initiatives to enhance the quality of the journal, and the ongoing commitment to open access and impactful research.

We have successfully concluded our inaugural OCEM International Conference on Green Technology and Talent Management, which was held on May 10th and 11th, 2024. This significant event served as a vital gathering of minds dedicated to sustainability and organizational excellence. It marked a noteworthy milestone for our OCEM Journal of Management, Technology & Social Sciences. The conference provided an invaluable opportunity to bridge the gap between research and practice, bringing together esteemed scholars, industry leaders, and practitioners from across the globe. Our collective ambition was to explore innovative solutions, challenge existing paradigms, and concretely define the path for transformative advancements in green technology and talent management.

Following the successful conclusion of the OCEM International Conference, a special volume of the OCEM Journal of Management, Technology & Social Sciences has been published. As a result, we received a total of forty five papers presented at the conference and made diligent efforts to select fifteen high-quality articles from among them. Therefore, the conference serves as a significant milestone for the publication of this special issue in our journal.
